Dr. Patricia Hills Prioritizes Her Patients’ Health

Her own experience in the dental chair showed Dr. Patricia A. Hills the impact that a dentist can have on a person’s life. Her dental history includes multiple tooth fillings, crowns, extractions, and appliances. She even had jaw surgery in high school and wore braces for six years! Dr. Hills wanted to help people in similar circumstances, so she chose dentistry as a career.

Dr. Hills received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Texas-San Antonio in 2010. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2016. While there, she received the General Dentistry Award and was named to the Dean’s List. Other notable accomplishments include serving as a member of the board of directors for the American Opportunity for Housing/American Agape Foundation from 2008–2012.

We are happy to welcome Dr. Hills to our practice. Her patients appreciate that she can truly understand their experiences. She realizes that fear of the unknown, fear of pain, and fear of judgment are very real – and she helps patients overcome these issues. She enjoys having fun with her patients while prioritizing their health and quality of life.

Away from the office, Dr. Hills has always enjoyed exploring the city and trying new foods and drinks with her husband. They still do that when they can – but they have become much busier since their daughter, Layla, has started kindergarten and swimming lessons.
